JICC has been addressing various situations with flexibility, while endeavoring to accumulate cross-industrial credit information covering consumer finance, finance, sales credits, and other sectors.
As a result, it has established its foundation as the only credit information bureau covering all industries.

1.Status of Membership

JICC’s membership encompasses a wide range of businesses including credit companies, consumer finance companies, card companies (affiliated with distributors, banks, or manufacturers), financial institutions, surety companies, and leasing companies.

2.Status of Credit Information Held

Selected by credit companies for its track record and experience accumulated over the last 30 years, as well as for its reliability and security management expertise, JICC now has the largest volume of credit information in Japan.

It holds approximately 60% of the credit information relating to the approximately 180 trillion yen consumer credit market (including mortgage, according to a survey by JICC.)

Status of information held that are subject to the Money Lending Business Act
As regards information subject to the Money Lending Business Act, JICC holds more than 95% of the credit information pertaining to a total of approximately 12 trillion yen of consumer loans (as of March 31, 2010 according to a material released by the Financial Services Agency).
